Rev. Jane B. Roy

Licensed Funeral Director

I am blessed to have found another ‘calling’ while volunteering at our local conservation cemetery. While supporting and assisting families bury their own loved ones, I witnessed the importance of knowledgeable and compassionate funeral directors. From that experience, I chose to return to school to become a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, in order to provide a more encompassing line of support.

However, my heart primarily remains with ‘Green Burials’ where families have the ability to have a hands on experience of caring for their own deceased loved ones. Born to self-employed parents, I myself have been an independent contractor most of my adult working life. I am an ordained ADL inter- faith minister and a certified Rapid Eye Technician. It has been my privilege to assist others in the emotional and mental clearing of traumatic life experiences, grief being one of the major causes of their struggles. Throughout it all, my work and my personal passion since childhood has been about helping others.

William Turner Heath

Licensed Funeral Director & End of Life Doula

Bridging the professional, spiritual and artistic is of utmost importance to William. To that end and in his current capacity as a funeral director, he has rounded out his education with an End-of-Life Doula Certificate through the University of Vermont. William is currently in training as an interfaith minister while he concurrently volunteers at Haven Hospice.

With the heart and empathy of an artist and his skills in and knowledge of funeral services, William thoughtfully guides clients toward rituals and ceremonies that speak to that which is meaningful and comforting to them and that reflects the religious and family traditions that they hold close. William is also an enthusiastic proponent of Green Burial and Natural Organic Reduction, and accordingly frequently speaks to groups about alternative dispositions options.

Community engagement above all else: Board of Directors for the newly forming Florida End of Life Doula Association, Board of Directors for Historic Evergreen Cemetery, Student Liaison Coordinator for Independent Funeral Directors of Florida Association, Pride Community Center of North Central Florida volunteer.
