Adeleke Olubunmi Osoba Obituary

Adeleke Opeyemi Olawale Olubunmi Osoba “Wale” was born on September 2, 1955, to the late Moses Olaitan Osoba (father) and Mrs. Patience Mosunmade Olubunmi Osoba (mother)  Nee (Maiden Name) Olufioye, in Lagos Nigeria, West Africa.  He was preceded in death by his brother Segun Osoba.

Wale was educated throughout his Primary education in Lagos, Nigeria and Secondary at Lagos City College, Sabo, Yaba. In early 1983, Wale relocated to Atlanta, GA in the United States.  While attending college in Atlanta, Wale discovered his passion for serving people and thus, began his career as a medical assistant, later becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.  While in Atlanta, he became a naturalized U.S.A. Citizen and maintained his Nigerian Citizenship as well.

Wale’s career allowed him to later relocate to Hyattsville, Maryland, where he continued this work in the medical field for more than 20 years at the Metro Homes Healthcare Inc., caring for those in need.  He was a phenomenal and dependable worker, as commented by his co-workers and supervisor.

Wale was a very humble, compassionate, loving, caring and giving person.  He enjoyed football (Soccer), swimming and drawing.  His favorite musician was the late Barry White – often talking about his smooth velvet baritone voice.

Wale leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving wife, Mrs. Helene Osoba, who is currently residing in the Republic of Cameroon.   He is further survived by his siblings, two brothers, and four sisters:  Mr. Taiwo Osoba, Lagos, Nigeria and Rev. Babajide O. Osoba (Rev. Teresa), Gainesville, FL.
