Dexter White Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Dexter White announce the sudden passing of their beloved.

The Life:

Dexter Lashane White, the son of Earl White Jr. and the late Cherrlyn Williams, unexpectedly departed from this life on May 09, 2022, at Bravera Health Seven Rivers Hospital. Dexter was born on November 01, 1968, in Hernando, Florida at his grandparents’ home.

Dexter had a powerful way of impacting everyone that he met.  He had the ability to light up the room when he entered it.  He was a multi-talented and blessed many individuals with his knowledge and wisdom and didn’t mind at all expressing himself if he felt his voice was not being heard. He was a caring young man that adored people in and around his community.  He loved the youth and tried to steer a countless number of them in the right direction when they crossed paths. Dexter had a great sense of humor and being around him was never a dull moment. Dexter motivated people, especially young men, to be better and do better in their lives.

Dexter would call himself a Master Griller, he was also skilled in the kitchen, and really enjoyed feeding others, this made him happy. Dexter was a loyal person.  He fostered environments that formed bonds and true friendships and he had no problem giving you his last. Dexter was a loving person, however, don’t cross his sisters.   You see, Dexter was a skilled warrior when it came to protecting himself and those he loved.  He was not violent, but rather very guarding of family.  If we could wrap up his person in a phrase it would be “nourishing souls”.  Dexter embodied his passion in those two words.

As Dexter got older, he worked on perfecting and attempted daily to better himself as a man, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, son, lover, and friend. He learned how to pray more and talk less because he knew that God was always in control.  He was a man with a heart of gold, who constantly impacted everyone that he met.

Dexter was a huge fan of football, his teams were Fla. Gators and Buffalo Bills.  Dexter enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, they were all very special to him.
