Born on February 2, 1945, Jimmy (Jim) Williams, Sr.was a man of many talents and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and the unwavering love he had for his family, his business, and his community.
As an entrepreneur, Jim was a visionary leader who turned his dreams into reality. He founded and successfully ran Jimmy Williams Construction, a company that not only thrived but also provided countless job opportunities to the community.
Jim instilled in his children the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones.
Beyond his professional and family life, Jim had an incredible passion for sports, particularly softball/baseball and the Reddick Rookies. He spent countless hours as a dedicated softball coach, not only teaching the game but also imparting life lessons to athletes. His coaching went far beyond the field, shaping the character and confidence of countless players who looked up to him as a mentor and friend.
Jim will be remembered for his smile, his ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His absence will leave a void that can never be filled.
While we mourn the loss of Jim, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless individuals he touched throughout his journey.
