Lula surrendered to the will of the Lord on April 23. 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Her memory will forever live on through her children, Keith Holmes (Gail) of Jacksonville, FL, Tara Holmes (Ron) of Gainesville, FL, 3 grandchildren Toccarra Holmes, Trevor Holmes, both of Gainesville, FL, Ashley McLaughlin, of Jacksonville, FL; 6 greatgrandchildren; 9 siblings, James Hannibal, Vernell Hannibal, Willie Hannibal, Joyce Hannibal, Alphonso Hannibal, Leon Hannibal all of Hartsville, SC, Andrew Hickman Jr., of Gilbert, PA, Vertia Crudup of Bishopville, SC, Clarence Hunter of Atlanta, GA, special friends Angela Lighty (David) of Columbia, SC, Annette Waiters of Hartsville, SC, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends.
A service honoring the life of Mother Lula Brockington will be held in South Caroline.
