A time to be born- Mother Josephine Jenkins was born on July 17, 1937 in Cross City, Florida to the late Jim Campbell and Annie Mae Campbell.
A time to find love- Mother Jenkins was happily married to the late Mr. Johnny Jenkins Sr. for 48 years honoring their vows “till death do us part”
A time to find Christ- Mother Jenkins was a faithful and devoted member of Royal Temple C.O.G.I.C in Cross City, Florida for 30+ years. She faithfully served as a Licensed Missionary, President of the Noonday Prayer Band, a member of W.O.R.T.H.I.T, and various other ministries. Mother Jenkins accepted the Sacred office of Church Mother under the leadership of the late Pastor Ella Bell Peterson. She served with integrity and grace always giving a caring smile that warmed the hearts of many.
A time to bid farewell- On January 13, 2022 surrounded by her loving family Mother Jenkins heard and answered the Masters’ call and transitioned from this life into eternity to forever rest in the arms of Jesus Christ.
Mother Jenkins had an infectious smile that touched the hearts of many, who will miss her very much. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving Children: Johnny Johnson (Marilynn), Curlie Brown, Sylvia Jenkins (Laurence), Johnnie Jenkins, Jr., Percy Mack Johnson (Deceased), Forlepay Lee Jenkins (Deceased), and Carlos Regina Ingraham (Deceased); Sisters: Curlie Mae Collins (Deceased), Linnie Ann Brinson, Jessie Mae Kamma, Willie Pearl Lennex, Leila Mae Forbes (Norris), and Dorothy Smith; Brothers: James Cecil Campbell (Deceased), John C. Campbell (Deceased), Daniel Campbell (Maegoldie), and Minor L. Campbell (Joyce); Grandchildren: Chilquila Johnson, Percy Johnson, Antonio Brown (Michelle), Cassandra Brown, Danielle Brown, Daniel Brown Jr., Mercedes Brown, Jasmine Brown, Dina Reuben, Laila Reuben, Felisia Jenkins-Nelson (Damian), Forlepay Lee Jenkins Jr., Dina Reuben, Laila Reuben, Halee Ingraham, and Hallie Ingraham; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; God-daughters: Brenda Timmons and Julia Mae Robinson; Godson: Harry Bell; Pastor: P.J Hope & Royal Temple C.O.G.I.C Family; A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
