Rev Willie Cunningham Sr Obituary

Rev Willie F Cunningham Sr was born on April 1, 1939 in Deerfield Beach, Fl to the late Ulysses Cunningham Sr and Louise Jones Cunningham.   On November 2, 1958 he joined in Holy Matrimony to Rhodella Powers Cunningham. In their union four children were conceived.  Mrs. Rhodella remained by his side faithfully during their 65 years of marriage. 

Rev Cunningham attended school in Broward County.  He was employed by Tacachale Center for over 30 years.

Rev Cunningham accepted Jesus Christ in his life and became a member of Emanuel Baptist Church at an early age.   He attended Theology School at First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Fl.   He was later called to faithfully serve as pastor until his death at:

Macedonia Baptist Church in Hampton, Fl

New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ocala, Fl

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Leesburg, Fl

Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Bland, Fl

Dayspring Baptist Church in Gainesville, Fl

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in High Springs, Fl

Rev Cunningham enjoyed fishing, studying, and reading the word of God!

At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his loving wife, children, grand children and great grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving devoted wife Rhodella P Cunningham, Son:  Willie F Cunningham Jr (Shelia), 3 daughters: Cathy Walker (Rev Benard Walker), Lora Hinson (Freeman) and Irma Camp.
