Sister Viola McBride Rivers “RED” witch her farther nicknamed her. She was born on September 9, 1951, to the latest Reverend Jesse McBride Sr. and her sister Rosa Lee Thompson McBride in Chiefland, FL. The Family moved to Lakeland, Fl. She then Graduated from Rochelle High school. She later received numerous Certificates in banking and real estate. After
moving to Highland Fellas, NY. As a child she accepted Christ as her personal saver and worked In both Baptist and Pentecostal fellowship. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Reverend Alonza Stone Rivers. To this union was born 1 daughter Ms. Rosa D’jora Rivers of Athens, TN. On June 10, 2023, after the long battle with cancer Sister Rivers answered the call of her farther and, transitioned to live with the lord and savior Jesus Christ. Presiding her in death her parents Rev. Mr. Jesse McBride Sr. One brother: Franklin D. McBride One Sister: Paula Albright She is survived by one Daughter Rosa D Rivers of one sister Mother Mary Underwood of Newberry, Fl. Two Brothers; Jesse McBride Jr. and Harold K. McBride both of New York. Two Aunts; Sister Marie Thompson and Sister Mary lock both of Chiefland, Fl. Two uncles; Joseph Thompson and Roosevelt Thompson both of Chiefland, FL. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Sorrowing friends.
