A time to Remember, Mr. Willie West Jr was born May 8, 1949, to Arnetta Payne and Willie Alfred West Sr. in Mont brook, Florida. He was affectionately known to many as “Pop”, Willie loved outside and challenging his green thumb capabilities…… lol
Willie attended Archer Public School System and worked for 50 years as a tile setter. On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Haven Hospice, Willie West Jr. was called peacefully to eternal rest. Willie leaves to remember his laughter, smile, and joy in the hearts of his sons; Willie West III(Jackie), Adrian D. West, three daughters; Shannon Robinson (Calvin), Zianya Q Nelson, and Shaquana Robinson, two brothers; Jerome Perry Sr., (Thelma), Alfred Duboise (Tonya), two Sisters; Mae Frances Jones and Myra Scott-West (Roosevelt), 12 grandchildren, 1 great grand, One Aunt; Elnora Payne (101 years old) nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. One daughter who preceded him in death; Felissa West.
